Qualifying Fish Species: 

Largemouth Bass 

Standard Rules of Comp 

  1. All Fish must be submitted through the Keepnet App, Available for download from both the Android play store and Apple App Store (IOS)
  2. Only Fish caught on the above "lakes in Play" between tournament start dates and finish dates.
  3. Weight-only tournament using recognised digital scales. List below
  4. Video standards need to be strictly adhered to for the validation of fish to be successful.
  5. Minimum qualifying weight – 1(lb) 
  6. Only fish weighed through the Keepnet App will count, videos outside of the Keepnet app will not be accepted.
  7. Fish caught between the following times will count 5:00 am and 10:00 pm
  8. Team series, 2 anglers but you do not have to fish together on the same boat at the same time. Therefore 2 anglers may collectively accumulate a score together for their team fishing on different boats or fishing alone.

Video Standards

Tournament video standards through the Keepnet Weigh bay app.

 

  1. Make sure you have logged into the respective tournament you are competing in. "The Texas Tanker" through the Keepnet App. By joining the competition you will be issued a QR Code or Password by email. 
  2. Digital Scales only will be allowed – List above of accepted scales. Once your fish has been boated alive, you will need your scale and your phone, 
  3. Open the Keepnet App on your phone.
  4. Press the Add Fish button.
  5. Press the RED record button shown on the video interface.
  6. Once recording has started (Numbers will start counting in Red), you will show your digital scale tared and showing 0.00lbs clearly.
  7. Clip your fish onto the clip grip.
  8. Film the weighing of your fish clearly showing the fish hanging freely.
  9. Present the scale with your fish hanging freely to the camera clearly showing the weight of your fish. Verbally announce the weight you see on the scale as verbal validation of the weight,
  10. State your name and the tournament you are fishing i.e. "The Texas Tanker" within the video.
  11. Hands must be holding the scale at scale manufacture grip positions.
  12. Hands must not impede the bottom of the scale or the chain of the scale.
  13. Once you have weighed the fish, continue filming the release of the fish alive.
  14. Stop recording, then enter the correct weight into the app.
  15. If a fish over 13+ Lbs is caught, this fish can be released into your LiveWell if participating in the share lunker style tournaments, this does need to be stated in the video.
  16. Videos that are blurred where the weight can not be seen will be deemed invalid. 

     

Catch and Release:

This is a full catch-and-release tournament. Dead fish will not be validated.  

Validation:

Validation of fish uploaded through the Keepnet app will be at the discretion of the Tournament Organisers / Director, with strict adherence to the video standards. The tournament Organisers / Directors' decision is final.
